COTT Awards

COTT’s Annual Music Awards was designed to pay tribute to member songwriters, composers and music publishers, reinstating credibility to creators, whose efforts were often overshadowed by the spotlight accorded performing artistes who popularize their works.

Although the performer and songwriter are sometimes a single identity, completely different skills and talents are involved.  At the core of COTT’s corporate philosophy is the view that without the creation of music there would be no need for an entertainer.

COTT’s Annual Awards took place from 1998 with the tenth anniversary of the show taking place in 2008.  Award festivities were summarily held in 2011 and 2015 as well.
