As an NGO, COTT is guided by a non-executive Board of Directors in liaison with an executive management team.
The principal purpose of the Board is the stewardship of the organisation. The Board through the executive team is responsible for the creation of value for Members’ property including the protection of such property from unauthorised use. The Board is responsible for creating an environment of trust, transparency, and accountability necessary for fostering long-term strategic alliances with key players in the collective management industry.
The Board is controlled by the Members and consists of four (4) Writer Members, two (2) Performer Members, two (2) Producer Members and two (2) Publisher Members. Board members are elected from and by the membership every three (3) years at the Annual General Meeting.
